Nestled in the heart of Seksyen 7, Shah Alam, Shiha Zikir Nasi Ayam is a charming nasi ayam restaurant that delights with its authentic Hailam-style cuisine. Owned by the popular singer Shiha—who enjoys a loyal fan base including CTDK’s admirers—this spot offers a warm, inviting ambiance perfect for families and solo diners alike. Whether you're craving a comforting meal after a long day or simply exploring local flavors, Shiha Zikir Nasi Ayam delivers a satisfying experience.
The star of the menu is undoubtedly the nasi ayam set, which comes generously portioned and thoughtfully paired with a refreshing drink choice like teh o ais or lime ice. The succulent roasted chicken, juicy and tender, melts in your mouth and is complemented beautifully by the fragrant rice that’s been lovingly prepared to absorb subtle, savory nuances. One cannot overlook the sambal here—vibrant, spicy, and packed with flavor—it injects the perfect kick that elevates every bite, leaving a lingering warmth that beckons you back for more.
Beyond the signature chicken rice, Shiha Zikir also tempts with other well-loved menu items such as the fried kuey teow and fried dumplings. The kuey teow earns high praise for its delightful “char” aroma—a smoky, slightly crisp texture that adds an irresistible depth of flavor. Meanwhile, the fried dumplings offer a crispy exterior and succulent filling that rivals even the best nuggets, providing a comforting nostalgia with each mouthful. And let’s not forget the lemon juice, praised for its perfectly balanced tang—never too sour, but refreshingly bright.
Customers repeatedly applaud the restaurant’s impeccable cleanliness and friendly staff, who make every visit feel personalized and welcoming. Ordering through a QR code system adds a modern twist that suits introverts and tech-savvy diners, offering a relaxed pace with food arriving swiftly, often within five minutes. The overall vibe is casual yet cared for, with attentive service that enhances the culinary journey.
Shiha Zikir Nasi Ayam is more than just a meal; it’s a comforting embrace of classic local flavors with a contemporary, heartfelt touch. Service: Ordering through the QR code was quite fun perfect for introverts who don’t like feeling rushed. The food was delivered about 5 minutes after ordering, which was impressively fast! Taste: The food looked great, but I’d rate it a 4/5. Maybe it’s just my flavorful palate, but it wasn’t that tasty a little on the bland side for me.

Yesterday, I had the chance to dine at Shiha Zikir Nasi Ayam in Seksyen 7, Shah Alam with my family. Here's my take: The nasi ayam set I ordered came with a generous portion—definitely bang for your buck. It’s the kind of comfort food you'd crave on a long day. The set also included a drink, either teh o ais or lime ice. The highlight was the sambal—spicy and full of flavor, a perfect kick to the nasi ayam. The roasted chicken was flavorful, while the BBQ chicken option was equally delicious. However, fair warning: the sambal might be too spicy for kids. The ginger condiment complemented everything nicely too. My brother had the mee kari, and wow, the portion was massive! The bowl came with rich, flavorful kuah—perfectly balanced. However, we noticed one thing missing: telur rebus. For mee kari lovers, that's almost a must-have! Overall, the food was delicious, portions were satisfying, and the price was reasonable. Definitely a place to revisit. Just a heads-up, though—parking in Seksyen 7 can be a challenge, so patience is key!

We ordered the Roasted Chicken Rice, Fried Kuey Teow, and Fried Dumpling. The roasted chicken was juicy and flavourful, and the rice itself sedap gila. The Kuey Teow was my favourite. It got that perfect “char” aroma and taste. The Fried Dumpling pulak crispy and tasty, macam nugget vibes but better! Shedap! Also, small thing but I have to mention is the lemon juice! Not too masam, just nice and refreshing (if you like super sour ones, maybe not for you ). Definitely will come back again, especially for that Fried Kuey Teow. Highly recommended!

One of the best chicken rice in town. Im a chicken rice lover. I have ate so many chicken rice all over Malaysia, Singapore and other parts of the world. For me, Shiha Zikir’s chicken rice is delicious. Tender chicken, refreshing soup, and the key to this chicken rice is the condiment sauces. Love the ginger paste, chili sauce and soy sauce. The staffs are also polite and nice. Keep up the good work.
